It was a colorful display in the city of Calabar, ward 2 to be precise as Sen. Prince Edet Otu concluded his campaign ahead of the senatorial election on the 16th of February, 2019.
Speaking to the crowd, Sen. Prince Otu urges all in the community to vote their conscience and not allow any to buy their conscience with money.
He specifically said he will be there to represent not his interest but the interest of everyone in ward 2.
Also speaking was RT. Hon. Bassey Akiba, a candidate aspiring for House of Representative member, he seek the crowd to go out and vote, for their votes will be counted.
Hon. James Akiba, aspiring for Chairman in the coming election representing Calabar Municipality was also with the senator, he thank the crowd and also Indulge the elderly to vote APC in the forthcoming elections.
Mrs. Nkoyo Omon, who spoke on behalf of the Senator wife who wasn’t present, assured the women that their vote will be counted, they should go out in Masses and vote APC as their choice.
She said there is only two political party in Nigeria, “APC and others”. She concluded by saying the Senator wife send her greetings and items for the women in the community.
The Wil’s Brass Team where in attendance as their instrument lifted the atmosphere, and turn the events to a celebration ceremony.
Also displaying was Mma Effiom Entertainment Theatre, who displayed exceptionally to the amazement of the senator and his entourage.
Cinclusively, a member of the community popularly known as Ete-Akamba assured the senator that ward 2 is solidly behind him, he said that its “Prince Otu or nobody”.
The Presidential and Senatorial elections is fixed to take place on Saturday, 16th Feb, 2019. We all at CalabarOnline urges members of the public that haven’t gotten their PVC to do that so as to go out and vote candidate of their choice.
